Thank You Keith Haring

For the past two weeks we have painted in the style of Keith Haring.
Keith Haring was an American street artist who lived and worked in New York in the 1970s and 80s.

He used colourful chalk to draw hearts and people on subways and on buildings. His work often had a message for people.

He loved drawing from an early age and his favourite artists were Walt Disney and Dr Seuss.

We think his art reminds us of three school values- Hauora , Aroha and Togetherness.

What do you think?
